A charming and sharp comedy natural, Josh Daniels guarantees laughs from the moment he walks on stage.

It all started by making friends and family laugh after changing the lyrics to  popular songs, (he’s been doing it ever since he was given his first guitar as a 12 year old).  This is what has led Josh to a very successful comedy career for over 25 years.

Even though Josh started out in the 90’s, playing guitar and singing, the crowds were in stitches with his one liners and ‘off the cuff’ parody songs.  After a newspaper described him as a ‘comedian’, he realised that comedy was his natural passion.

The first few years of Josh’s career were in comedy clubs such as ‘Jongleurs’ and ‘The Comedy Store’, where he perfected his material and improv skills as well as controlling a crowd.  Working alongside comedians such as Peter Kay, John Bishop and Michael McIntyre turned out to be an invaluable experience.

In 2011, Josh found himself supporting TV comedians including, Jo Brand and Barry Cryer as well as performing his own theatre shows and writing for TV and radio.

Since the millennium, Josh’s calendar has consisted mainly of corporate events, sporting dinners, holiday centres and cruise ships which has expanded his material to accommodate a wide range of audiences.  He really can adapt to suit different expectations and nationalities including people from the U.S.  He can even tell some jokes in Spanish!

Josh enjoys helping charities and performs regularly for ‘The Variety Club’, ‘Sparks’, and is now an honourable member of the ‘Lord’s Taverners’, where he uses his ‘stand-up’ skills to help disadvantaged children.  He can host, perform and even help with the auction in an amusing way, putting the fun into fundraising.  As a keen golfer, company directors and charity event managers regularly invite Josh to play alongside their clients and partners taking advantage of his natural networking skills.

Now, armed with his little guitar that takes his funny stories to a different level, Josh has become a popular comic in demand around the UK and internationally.
